What is a Well Control Certificate?

  Well Control Awareness is important to every personnel onboard. (မြန်မာVersion below) If you are planning to work on a rig, you might be asked to present your well control certificate. Having a well control certificate is also one of the important steps to become a driller, derrickman, drilling engineer, or a drilling supervisor. A well control certificate shows the competency of a personnel in regards of well control procedures such as -Shut in procedures. -Circulation. -Flow check. -Operation of a BOP. -Well Killing Method. -Pressure ratings of the well control equipment & line ups etc. There are 4 levels in well control certificates. 1) Awareness 2) Introductory 3) Driller 4) Supervisor In order for you to pass the exam and acquire the certificate, one must be able to score 75% and above.
