General Types of Drilling Rigs
Rig selection process ဟာ exploration နဲ့ development stage တွေမစခင်မှာ အရေးပါတဲ့အချက်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
1) Derrick Capability - proposed လုပ်ထားတဲ့ အလေးဆုံး casing ကို run နိုင်ရမယ်၊ နောက်ပြီးတော့ cementing လုပ်နေတဲ့ အချိန်မှာ လိုအပ်ရင် casing ကို reciprocate လုပ်နိုင်တဲ့ capability ရှိရမယ်။
2) Air Gap and leg length - ဒါကတော့ jackups နဲ့ floater rigs တွေအတွက် ခြေတံအလျား၊ ပင်လယ်ရေမျက် နှာပြင်နဲ့ အကွာအဝေး စတဲ့ အချက်တွေဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
3) Setback Capacity - casing run နေတဲ့အချိန်မှာ drillpipe ကို stand လုပ်ထားနိုင်ဖို့ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
4) Pump Deliverability - operation က လိုအပ်တဲ့ hydraulics လိုအပ်ချက်တွေကို ဖြည့်ဆည်းနိုင်ရပါမယ်။
5) Solids removal requirement - rig မှာ ပါဝင်တဲ့ shakers, desanders, desilters, centrifuge နဲ့ mud gas separators တွေရဲ့ capacity ကိုကြည့်ရပါမယ်။ အကယ်၍ Well control situation မှာ shut in လုပ်ပြီး circulate မယ့် influx ထဲမှာ ပါဝင်တဲ့ gas ပမာဏကို handle လုပ်နိုင်မယ့် capacity ရှိရပါမယ်။
6) Drillpipe and collars with a limited failure rate - ဒါကတော့ rig package မှာပါဝင်တဲ့ drillpipe ရယ် drillcolars တွေရဲ့ failure rate limited ဖြစ်မဖြစ်ဆိုတဲ့အချက်ကိုကြည့်ရပါမယ်။
7) Sufficient Collars of the right size to meet the WOB requirements - လိုအပ်တဲ့ WOB ရဖို့အတွက် လုံလောက်တဲ့ drill collar အရေအတွက် နဲ့ မှန်ကန်တဲ့ size လည်းဖြစ်ရပါမယ်။
8) Sufficient horsepower - rig ရဲ့ horsepower က operation အတွက် လုံလောက်တဲ့ range အတွင်းမှာ ဖြစ်ရပါမယ်။
9) A good camp facilities - engineers တွေ technicians တွေအတွက် လုံလောက်ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ နေထိုင်ရေး၊ စားသောက်ရေးကို ထောက်ပံ့ပေးနိုင်တဲ့ camp facilities တွေရှိရပါမယ်။
10) Workshop needed for maintenance - maintenance လုပ်ဖို့အတွက် workshop နဲ့ electrician and mechanic တွေပါဝင်ရပါမယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့် logistics အရခက်ခဲတဲ့ operation တွေမှာ အရေးကြီးပါတယ်။
11) BOP records, an adequate manifold and a substantial accumulator - well control situation မှာ operate လုပ်နိုင်ဖို့အတွက် BOP ရဲ့ pressure rating တွေ၊ shut in records တွေ၊ manifold နဲ့ accumulator lineup တွေရယ် အပြင် pump capacity တွေကိုလည်းကြည့်ဖို့လိုပါတယ်။
12)Sufficient lifting equipment - heavy duty liftings တွေအတွက် လုံလောက်တဲ့ lifting equipment တွေပါရှိရပါမယ်။
13) Sufficient fuel storage for both the rig and camp, and transport for at least twice the expected refueling period - rig နဲ့ camp အတွက် လုံလောက်တဲ့ fuel storage ရှိရပါမယ် ( contingency အပါအဝင်)။
14) Available, experienced crews complete with their training and experience records - rig crew တွေအနေနဲ့ လုံလောက်တဲ့ training နဲ့ experience ရှိဖို့လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။
15) A good safety record - rig ရဲ့ operation history မှာ ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ safety မှတ်တမ်းရှိရပါမယ်။
